I remember having to wake up really early from my friend’s house because everyone else was at Tagum, I had to stay overnight at his house. That Sunday, we had planned a family outing to a rather new resort, Secdea.
I remember starting my day off with breakfast at McDonald’s. I remember feeling chipper that morning, but not the reason why.
I remember that was the first time I visited the newly renovated McDonald’s branch. I remember liking the new wall decorations.
I remember the cashier taking forever with my order… but it was well worth the wait because I remember biting into that breakfast sandwich and it was heaven.
I remember it being so good, I had to take a photo with it, to remember it by.
I remember this to be my early morning face.
I remember the trip to the resort wasn’t very eventful but when we did arrive, I remember we were taken to the main location via golf carts.
I remember not driving the golf cart for fear of crashing it and having to pay with my kidneys.
I remember being excited about the buffet more than anything. Definitely more than the heat of the sun. I remember we had to wait for the scheduled lunch time so I took photos of the view outside instead.
I remember it was REALLY hot outside, I don’t even know how these people are swimming!
I remember the beach area had less than half sea water so no one was really swimming there. Just a few people riding a jetski under the heat of that sun. *shaking my head*
I remember the place to have really nice spots, though. If only it wasn’t so hot that day.
I remember loving seeing the name of the resort on the face of the cliff. Once this place is fully developed, I’m sure it will be breathtaking. They should add outdoor air-conditioners. El-oh-el.
I remember crossing that bridge to get to the rest house out in the open sea and resting inside. Shade, beautiful shade. Also, I think some birds shat on the couch I was sitting on. I remember NOT sitting on the shat portions.
I remember meeting ‘little brothers’ who were really chatty and loved having their photos taken. I could pass as their big brother, no?
I remember ending our day at the beach with family and group shots. Mom’s looking pretty hip with those sunnies, yeah? Ha ha!
I remember doing a fail jump because, seriously, HEAT. No. Energy.
I’ll end this blog post with this upbeat photo. LOL. Would definitely love to go back to Secdea on a less sunny day!
